I will probably post so many of these photos because I love my girls. <3
These photos are from Anime North! I have more pairs and singles, and also photos from Unplugged because let’s be real we Moon a lot. All costumes made by me except for Mercury (made by her). I do commissions!
I’m re-making/properly making a new Captain Cold costume! My bodysuit is 80% complete. You can see the inset chevron side-panel that I posted pattern progress photos on. Next I’m creating some quilted detail pieces to add to the arms and legs of the bodysuit.
The belt and hood are both pieces from my Original Captain Cold party outfit… both are being remade. Lots of pieces left to do but it will be so much fun to wear when I’m done.
I decided to create inset chevron side panels on my Captain Cold costume. I patterned out princess seams for the front and back of the costume and then modified the pattern into my chevron pieces. Details like this look hard but just take time, patience and a ruler! (Dont’ forget to label your pieces… or all hell breaks loose)
You can also see one of my favorite tools, the rotary cutter. If you don’t own one of these you should, you life will be infinitely easier.
Q:Hi, Gillykins! How are you doing, tonight, dear? :)
I’m at the office still digging my way out of a mountain off work. Luckily I’m at the ‘people need to respond to my e-mails’ phase. Basically I will be FANTASTIC as soon as I leave the office, lol.
I spent my Sunday hanging out in a film/photo studio, helping out with a documentary project!
Cosplayer Interviews: How we got involved, the community, our personal experience etc.
The costume transformations, doing make-up, getting dressed, photoshoot and some video pieces
Shooting nerdy Bikini’s and Lingerie for Scifeyecandy because we like warm/free studio space!
I started working on a new Captain Cold costume! I designed my own rule 63 version and sketched it out. Then I created a new custom bodysuit pattern to match my design.
Unfortunately I’ve ran into problems with the blue ‘pvc’ material I selected. Its already started to separate from the backing and become a sticky and flaked blue mess
Back to the drawing board on fabrics I guess! At least I know my pattern fits perfectly and this way I can add even more details into the suit.
